Human Formation and Citizenship

It is dedicated to the study and research of the historical, social, ideological, economic and cultural conditions of the institution of the national States, in particular the Brazilian State, in the Latin American context, as well as the analysis of its crises and perspectives.

The professors of this line of research are: Antonio Carlos Ritto, Cléia Schiavo, Eveline Bertino Algebaile, Emir Sader, Floriano José Godinho de Oliveira, Gaudêncio Frigotto, Marise Ramos, Ney Luiz Teixeira de Almeida, Pablo Gentili, Theotônio dos Santos e Zacarias Gama.

It is dedicated to the study and research of instituted public policies and their implications in the processes of subjectification and human socialization and in the expansion of the sphere of social rights, of citizenship conditions and effective democracy.
